Year 6 Student Leaders Shine ~

This week, our Year 6 Student Leaders proudly took on the role of tour guides, welcoming and leading potential new students and their families around our school. With confidence, kindness, and pride, they shared what makes St. Mel’s such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.

It was heartwarming to see our students speak about their learning, friendships, and faith experiences with such genuine enthusiasm. They truly embodied our school expectations - Do your best, Help others succeed, and Respect our school.

Opportunities like this allow our Year 6 students to continue developing their leadership skills, deepening their sense of responsibility, and growing in confidence as they represent our school community. They are learning what it means to lead through service, hospitality, and example, qualities that will stay with them well beyond their time at St. Mel’s.

We are so proud of the wonderful role models they continue to be for our younger students and the way they help our community grow through welcome and inclusion.
