The OH&S Committee meets twice per term. The composition includes the elected HSR and Deputy HSR, representatives from each sub-school, a rep from Admin/Therapy, the Principal, Assistant Principals and the OH&S Manager Nominee.

As part of Health and Safety Month, this week’s focus is on Self-Care and Wellbeing Tools.Look out for a Self-Care Toolkit Booklet designed to encourage everyone to pause, reflect, and take positive steps toward caring for their own wellbeing.

🌟13th - 17th October-Previous Week: Week 2 – Making a Difference: Every Action Counts

This week’s Health and Safety Month focus is all about recognising that every action makes a difference. Whether it’s reporting a hazard, lending a hand, checking in on a colleague, or modelling safe practices — small, consistent actions add up to a safer, healthier, and more supportive workplace for everyone.

Every time we follow procedures, show care, and take initiative, we help create a culture of wellbeing and responsibility.Your choices, your actions, your voice — they all make a difference. Look out for a token reminder of this in your pigeon hole 💚

💪20th - 24th October- Previous Week- Week 3- – Empowered to Act

This week’s Health and Safety Month focus is all about empowerment — having the confidence to take action when something doesn’t feel right, to speak up, and to look out for one another.

Being empowered to act means knowing that your voice and your actions matter.Whether it’s identifying a potential risk, suggesting an improvement, or supporting a colleague — your initiative helps create a safer, more caring workplace for everyone.

Together, we lead with courage, awareness, and purpose — because true safety starts when we’re empowered to act. 💚

Theme: Recognising Our Collective Effort

As Health and Safety Month comes to a close, this week is all about celebration and gratitude — recognising the efforts, big and small, that make our workplace safe, supportive, and connected.

Every conversation, report, and act of kindness contributes to a culture where wellbeing and safety thrive. Take a moment to celebrate the positive changes we’ve made together and to thank someone who has made a difference in your day.
