Unit Newsletters - A Window into Your Child’s Learning

This week, our teachers have shared their Unit Newsletters with you. These newsletters are designed to give you a clear overview of what your child will be learning in the classroom this term.

Each one outlines key focus areas across subjects, important dates, and ways you can support learning at home. Our teachers put a great deal of thought and effort into creating these newsletters as part of our ongoing commitment to open and meaningful communication with families.

We encourage you to take the time to read through your child’s newsletter and discuss the upcoming learning together. It’s a great way to stay connected to your child’s school experience and spark rich conversations at home.

Here are a few conversation starters you can use:

  • “What are you most excited to learn about this term?”

  • “Is there anything in your unit newsletter that looks challenging or new?”

  • “How do you think your class will explore that topic?”

  • “What’s one goal you want to set for yourself this term?”

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education.

Please see the attached photos of our enthusiastic Foundation & Yr 1 students, eager to be back at school and engaging in some fantastic learning through the InitiaLit program. It's wonderful to see their excitement and focus as they build strong foundations in literacy!
