Things are really starting to ramp up with our Fun Fiesta tomorrow evening. We are so grateful to the many parents who have agreed to volunteer for the various class stalls and Parent Association BBQ on the day. If every parent provides just 30 minutes of their time to support the school on the day, we will be sure to have the best Fun Fiesta ever!
Just remember.. every family that supports the school by adding their name to the volunteer list at the office or in class stall support roles on the day, will be acknowledged in the newsletter after the event. Your support is crucial to ensuring the success of our Fiesta.
This year we have some amazing rides and opportunities for students to share their talents to the broader community at our Fun Fiesta. We also have excellent prizes, a live auction, our choir performing, and so much more! Students performing in the Talent Quest, and those performing from our Junior Rockers group, will certainly be something to see!
And wait until you see the Haunted House- our Function room has been 'transformed' to a dark and spooky venue- I'm students will love this activity! Many thanks to the volunteer parents who took on this decorating task.
All students will have their Art work displayed in the hall, where cakes, icypoles and treats will be available for sale.
Our fabulous Raffle prizes are now on display at the office. Prizes include a huge Christmas hamper, a $100 shopping voucher and a $50 shopping voucher. All tickets are $2 (or 6 for $10) and are on sale from this afternoon (at the office) and tomorrow during the Fun Fiesta. The Prizes will be drawn at 6.30pm, followed by our live Auction for even more special items, where representatives from WIN real estate will be on site to run our live Auction event.
Of course, whilst all our final preparations are underway, we are still working hard in classrooms on our curriculum focus, with Reading, Writing, Maths and Social learning personal goals developed by each student early this term as a focus for their current learning progress.
Working Bee Sunday 24th November 9am-12pm
We are very grateful for the parents who have already indicated their intention to assist with our clean up and pack up after the Fun Fiesta. We also have some gardening to complete in our 'Frog Bog', so the more helpers the better.
As always, a free BBQ will be available to our volunteers who help at our working bee, and each family will be recognised at the Assembly the following week.
