Boys Netball

As Term 4 is drawing to a close, we have had our final sports events for the year. On Thursday 7th November our Year 5 and 6 boys netballers competed in the Eastern Metropolitan Region competition at Knox Netball complex. There were over 60 teams in the competition and all our boys played with tenacity, teamwork and enthusiasm. 

Team A came runners up in their pool, Team B were premiers and Team C also came runners up. A huge thank you to Kara Fogel who gave up her time to train the boys and coach the A team and Claire Tilley who assisted in training and coaching on the day.

Junior Hooptime

Also this term our junior (Years 3 and 4) girls Allstar Basketball team competed in the Division Hooptime finals at the State Basketball Centre. They came up against some tough (and tall) opposition but continued to play their hardest throughout the day.

Congratulations to Claire M, Ava S, Jade V, Mia M, Zalia H, Sienna P, Josie R, Emily M and Billie P! Also huge thank you to John Savinos and Emma Varney  who coached the girls at both rounds of Hooptime.
