From the Principal

New beginnings 

As we prepare for the end of a school year, there are also new beginnings evident around us. At the completion of the 2024 school year, the following staff will be moving into a new beginning.

Mrs Hannah Vlahos  

Will begin parenting leave at the end of the school year and welcoming a new little person into her family.  We pray that this transition to parenthood is smooth for Hannah and her husband.

Mr Rowan Lischke

Will be beginning 12 months leave, spending time with his family exploring this great country. We pray that this is a time of refreshment and connection for them.

Mrs Sarah Jones

Sarah has accepted a position at Kings Baptist School in 2025.  We thank Sarah for her dedication and service to the children, families and staff here at Good Shepherd since 2007. As she completes her time at Good Shepherd, Sarah will be acknowledged at our Closing Worship, on Tuesday 10th December.

For our 2025 Foundation students, their transitions will commence in the coming week. To support their learning and growth, the following teaching staff will be their guides.

The remaining 2025 Teaching Teams will be shared with families in the coming weeks. Whilst new beginnings are just around the corner, I know I also want to savour each moment in the present. 

As the pace of the end of the year increases, I pray that each of you will be able to take time to rest and be still and enjoy each moment that a day brings, and acknowledge from whom they come.
