PE this fortnight

This week in PE, our youngest learners, Preps and 1s, have been honing their coordination and motor skills through a fun and challenging activity involving mini-tramps. The students have been practicing their catching skills, using the trampolines to add an extra element of bounce and excitement to the game.

Meanwhile, our Year 3 and 4 students have been diving into the world of cricket. They've been working on their batting, bowling, and fielding skills, and have been putting their knowledge into practice by playing exciting games of wicket cricket.

Our Year 5 and 6 students have been busy collaborating to create their own unique game. They've worked together to design rules, strategies, and equipment, and are excited to share their creation with their peers over the coming weeks. We'll be evaluating the game's success and providing constructive feedback to help the students refine their design.

We're looking forward to another fortnight of active learning and fun in PE as we finish up the year!

Sorry no photos this week due to my absence.

School Sports Championships

On Tursday 28th Gracie from grade 5 ran in the 11 year old girls 15000 metre race at the School Sports Australia Championships in Sydney. She did an amazing race and smashed 9 seconds off her PB and triumphantly finished 6th. A truly remarkable acheivement Grace- we are so proud of you Gracie.
