Student Voice
Year 1 Animal Habitat Exhibition
The Year 1 students have had an amazing term learning all about animals and their habitats. Their enthusiasm was sparked with the excursion to Melbourne Zoo, when they began researching the habitat of their chosen animal. For the past couple of weeks they have all been working hard putting together an information poster about their chosen animal and creating a diorama of the animal's habitat.
They were delighted to be able to share their creative work with families and other grades on Friday morning where the Year 1 classrooms were buzzing. We heard lots of adults saying that they had learned something they didn't know about an animal!
We are very proud of the creativity and confidence the Year1 students have shown.
Transition Visits
On Tuesday afternoon we held our final kinder transition session for the year. Our future students seemed confident, comfortable and happy to be here. They enjoyed the session learning, listening and playing together with their new teachers and friends.
