Selamat Siang,
What a wonderful night at the Grade 1 Late Stay last Friday! The excitement had been building and we all had a ball. The students used zest and teamwork in all the activities and showed outstanding responsibility and kindness to each other. We played games, danced to music, climbed the web and ran around with bubbles. To top off the evening students enjoyed dinner together. We are now looking forward to another amazing night at the Grade 2 Sleepover!
Students have also been learning about Procedural texts in Writing and had the opportunity to make Fairy Bread in their classes. We learned all about the importance of the structure to ensure we follow steps in order. We also learned about the language in different procedural texts including nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. So much fun!
We look forward to seeing Grade 2s tonight! Have a wonderful week!
Emma, Suzie, Miss Shaye, Amanda, Miss Emmett, Kate and Mrs Seadon.
