Working with Children Checks

We welcome parents and guardians who would like to volunteer at Cheltenham East Primary School! Your involvement in school activities is a wonderful way to support our students and staff. To ensure a safe environment for everyone, all volunteers are required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

To apply for a WWCC:

Click here: Working with Children Check to start your application. Be sure to link your check to Cheltenham East Primary School during the process.

For VIT Card Holders:

If you are a parent with a current VIT Card, please follow this link: Service Victoria | Teacher Notification to notify Working with Children Check Victoria of your child-related volunteer role at our school. This helps us stay updated with your records.

To update your details:

If you need to make any changes to your WWCC information, please update through this link: Working with Children Check - Update Details.

Please note: Without a valid and current WWCC, you will not be able to participate in volunteer activities at the school.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us create a safe and engaging environment for our students!

Second Hand Uniform Donations

A big thank you to all the families who donated their second-hand uniforms. We received an incredible response, and even more so from the 2025 Foundation parents eager to purchase these items.

If you still have clean, gently used CEPS uniforms in good condition, we are always accepting donations to support our community. Your contributions make a big difference!

Congratulations Alisha

Congratulations to Alisha M. from 5B, who won 1st place in the 8-10-year-old category of the Kingston Libraries Story Lines Writing Competition! Alisha’s poem, Nothing's Impossible, impressed the judges and earned her a well-deserved $150 prize. Well done, Alisha, for this outstanding achievement!

Remembrance Day

As Remembrance Day approaches, we come together to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served to protect our freedoms. On November 11th, we pause to remember their dedication and bravery.

To support veterans and their families, items are available for purchase at the school office. Each poppy or item worn is a symbol of our respect and gratitude.  Prices range from $2 to $5.

Thank you for joining us in remembering those who have given so much.
