Spotlight on Drama & Italian 

Year 7 Drama & Italian Immersion 

Our Drama and Italian teachers had a desire to blend learning for students who study both subjects. Since our Year 7 Drama students were exploring a fairytales, our staff decided to teach them choreography to Disney songs in Italian! One class is learning 'Aspettando una nuova vita' (When Will My Life Begin) from Rapunzel, and the other class is mastering 'In fondo al mar' (Under the Sea) from The Little Mermaid. Students performed these with hand gestures and body language to bring the songs to life. It has been a great way to build confidence and get comfortable performing in front of an audience. 

Year 10 Italian 

This term, our Year 10 Italian students immersed themselves in the world of fashion, exploring iconic brands, learning clothing-related vocabulary, and uncovering the rich history of fashion from the 20th and 21st centuries. A special thanks to Giovanna from the Italian Learning Centre for joining our class this week and leading some engaging activities with our students.
