This term in Year 8 Science, students have been delving into the fascinating world of energy, focusing on its various forms, transfers, and transformations. This week, students conducted an exciting experiment to investigate how stored chemical energy in food can be released as heat energy through the process of combustion. 

This hands-on activity not only demonstrated the principles of energy conversion but also allowed students to observe first-hand the dynamic nature of energy in action. Well done, Year 8 Science!
