District Soccer
On Friday the 28 of July, our SSV Soccer Team travelled down to Mount Eliza to represent the Seaford District in the Division Soccer Competition. We knew it would be a really tough day, playing against much bigger schools, but we were ready (after countless lunchtimes of practice) to give it our best try. Our first match was against Ballam Park. We knew we had to win that one to make the grand final. It was neck and neck all game with Harry F kicking a goal early in the second half to make it a tied game 1-1. With time running out, Chase kicked the decider and we won 2-1. After a quick celebration we headed over to take on Woodlands in the Grand Final. Woodlands were a really tough and well drilled team but we fought it out to the very end and just fell short, losing 3-5 with Cristian, Sai and Seb M kicking goals.
We were all so proud of our team.
The coordinator of the competition went out of his way to acknowledge our team for their sportsmanship, effort and skills. Well done to the whole team, and in particular Cristian and Chase who lead, organised and prepared the team so brilliantly.

A reminder that dogs are not allowed on the school grounds. If you bring your dog to school please make sure to tie him/her up outside the gate.

We currently have a selection of items for sale and for free.
All school parents and caregivers have access to buy and sell, just join the group.
Normal Facebook Buy/Sell rules apply, you contact the seller and arrange to meet.
This site is Admin by a St Anne's parent not the school, so send enquiries to the site.
St Anne's Playgroup
Playgroup runs every Monday morning in the hall from 9-11am. Please bring a piece of fruit and a $2 donation. It is a great way to meet new parents, while giving the little ones a chance to have a play. No need to book just come along.
