Mrs Kathryn Searle - Head of Boarding
It is hard to believe the Cambridge Scholars’ Programme is coming to an end and we will be returning back to the Boarding House next week. The students who attended should be very proud of how they have grown and pushed themselves academically and socially while in Cambridge. They have enjoyed the activities and sightseeing in the UK as well.
No boarding student should hold their own medication in their rooms. This includes paracetamol, ibuprofen, cold and flu medication, antihistamine and vitamins. Any personal student medication will be named and held in the First Aid Room for dispensing as required.
Please note, we hold all of the above medication in stock which will be dispensed by the School Nurse or appropriate boarding staff. Therefore, boarding students are not required to supply their own standard non-prescribed medication.
QG Winter Fixtures continue this weekend and our first QG Athletics meet is being held on Friday afternoon, where many boarders will be involved. We are proud of our boarders who participate in our sports, attending all of the training sessions and competing on the weekends. Well done!
It is wonderful to see a small number of boarders attending church service with Ms Maggie on Sunday afternoons. We will look at boarders attending Youth Group at the church on Friday evenings during Term 4.
