Student Principal For A Day

We are excited to welcome Luka, Mina, and Seth to the principal team this coming Friday. We were impressed by the range of applications from students keen to take on this leadership role.

They will have the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a principal, including participating in meetings, making announcements, and assisting with school activities.

Stay tuned for updates on their activities and initiatives throughout the day. We look forward to seeing the fresh perspectives and ideas they bring to the table!

Thank You for Supporting Our Disco!

A big thank you to all who attended and supported our recent disco. We are excited to announce that we raised $3280.50, which is going towards supporting our Energy Breakthrough Program.

Many of you may have seen the EBT bikes whizzing around at training every lunchtime, and also after school a couple of nights per week.

We know these funds will greatly enhance our program by providing essential resources and equipment. Participating in EBT also helps our students develop teamwork, resilience, and a love for sustainable practices. Thank you for your support!

Staying Healthy & Well

As we hopefully move past the worst of Winter, we want to remind everyone of our health guidelines to keep our school community safe.

Students displaying symptoms of any illness should not attend school.

Should students become unwell during the school day parents will be asked to collect their child from school and to keep them home until they are no longer symptomatic.

Please note that some illnesses have a minimum period of exclusion from school. TheMinimum Period of Exclusion from Primary Schools and Children’s Services for Infectious Disease Cases and Contacts outlines these conditions.

Please read carefully, as this includes conditions such as vomiting/diarrhoea (remain at home until there has not been vomiting or a loose bowel motion for 24 hours) and head lice.

Thanks to everyone for helping to keep our school community healthy.

Bunjil Awards

Congratulations to the following students who received a Specialist Bunjil Award at last week’s assembly.

Bunjil awards recognise student achievement and those who display our school values of being respectful, responsible and kind.

Well done! All of our recipients enjoyed a hot chocolate or zooper dooper with a principal.
