CHPS Billy Cart Grand Prix and Soap Box Derby

On Wednesday December 20th, all CHPS students are invited to compete in the annual Billy Cart Grand Prix and Soap Box Derby!

Prep, Junior, and Middle students are encouraged to grab a cardboard box, a partner,  create a vehicle (a car, bus, train, etc.) and race like never before!  The students will navigate an obstacle course on the oval, racing inside their creation.  Please note, if using multiple boxes, they must be directly attached to each other.

Senior students are encouraged to get creative and make a Billy Cart in which one partner is pushed around the course by the other, changing over halfway.  Senior students must wear helmets whilst competing in the Billy Cart Race.  To enter, students sign up via their classroom teacher.  For any questions regarding the Billy Cart Grand Prix and Soap Box Derby please contact Robert.lewis@education.vic.edu.au

2024 Parent Contributions Now Live on Compass

Croydon Hills Primary School is looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning and would like to advise you Croydon Hills Primary School’s voluntary financial contributions for 2024 are now live on Compass.

Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard Victorian curriculum and we want to assure you that all contributions are voluntary. Nevertheless, the ongoing support of our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students. Thank you for all your support, whether that’s through Voluntary Contributions, fundraising or volunteering your time. This has made a huge difference to our school and the programs we can offer.  Essentially, it is your contributions that make Croydon Hills Primary School so special! Collectively your contributions allow us to provide opportunities and support above and beyond the traditional educational experience.

Payments can be made online through Compass.  If you wish to set up a payment plan, you can elect to do so over 3 fixed instalment dates.  Or you can come to the office and pay by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card.

Smile Squad 6-month Fluoride Varnish Visit

The EACH Smile Squad team are heading back to our school to complete six-monthly fluoride varnish applications for those students who have provided consent. Fluoride varnish applications help make sure students have the best chance of preventing tooth decay, so we’re excited Smile Squad are coming back.

Consent for this fluoride varnish application was provided when students’ initial consent forms were returned. However, if anyone has changed their mind and do not wish to receive a fluoride varnish application, they can contact EACH directly to let them know. Please contact the Smile Squad team via:
