Goals for Living Well  Learning Well 

The Term 4 theme for Living Well Learning Well at Sacred Heart is 'We Are Learners'. Each week we unpack a Core Value to remind us of the actions and behaviours to uphold in reaching our goals. 

Week 3/4 Core Value is: ''Accepting the Differences of Others."

Last week in the playground and the classrooms we observed students qualities that represent "Accepting the Differences of Others" with the award winner being:

Harry Stevens (Year 3)

On Friday we unpacked the Core Value "Accepting the Differences of Others". and again this week we will be observing students in the playground and the classrooms for those who represent this quality. We looked at what makes us all different. Students were then placed into groups of four where they wrote attributes down on a piece of jigsaw. The jigsaw was cut out into pieces and they then had to put the jigsaw back together. Mrs Fenton then explained that we are all different, but when we are all together as a whole that is when it works better. Differences make us whole.
