CATHOLIC MISSION
CRAZY SOCK & HAIR DAY
WE CERTAINLY WENT CRAZY!!!
The students and staff certainly came dressed for the occasion on Friday. We saw many interesting crazy hairdos and socks. For this privilege the students were asked to donate a gold coin which will be sent to the Catholic Mission to go towards their fundraising efforts.
SOCKERBALL CHALLENGE
The students enjoyed taking part in the sockerball challenge where they had a kicked off with the balls that they had made in class out of recycled clothing, bags and string. On the day Cox was just too good for Namoi and they ended up taking first and second place. Even though Cox came away victorious all students enjoyed the competition. Many thanks to the parents and carers who came to encourage and cheer our students on. The students certainly love having their families join them and so do we.
Old Cars
Last Thursday the students were lucky enough to walk to the RSL Club to see the old cars travelling through town. This is the 16th Highwheeler Rally, sponsored by the National Trust and supported by the Veteran Car Club of Australia (NSW). The students really enjoyed seeing the old cars that were built between 1900 - 1918.
