Spring Flower Festiva

Spring Flower Festival

Glenroy Cottage Craft Shop extended a warm invitation to All Saints' to contribute to their 'butterfly garden' during the Tumbarumba Spring Flower Festival. In line with the K/1 curriculum's exploration of Asian countries in Geography, our students enthusiastically accepted this creative endeavour and crafted a vibrant Indonesian Batik-inspired bunting. The Glenroy craft community received this artistic addition with great delight, and it admirably marked the entrance to the garden space. An interesting tidbit: our Bishop hails from Indonesia, adding a personal touch to this cultural exchange. In addition, we now proudly display a 'Heart Speaks to Heart' bunting in our school colours in the hallway, symbolising our collective spirit and the giving nature of our school.

The McColl family, from transition student to Year Four, showcased four distinct pieces in the sculpture competition. Each piece was impressive, reflecting their dedication and talent. Notably, Charlotte secured a well-deserved second place in the primary school category. We thank these students and their parents for contributing to this community event and representing our school with pride.
