Commonwealth Regional Scholarship Program

Dear Primary and Secondary Principals

Please be advised of the recent announcement of a new Commonwealth Regional Scholarship Program created to help support boarding school students from regional, rural and remote communities complete their education up to Year 12.

A number of scholarships will be available to support low to middle income families with the cost of boarding school fees. These scholarships may provide students with the opportunity to attend a high-quality boarding school, regardless of their financial background and will provide financial support for up to six years until the student completes Year 12 or equivalent.

Schools are encouraged to share this information with students and their families. 

Boarding school can be a life-changing experience for students, and this scholarship may make it possible for more students to attend.
