Camp Report by Montana E

On Wednesday 19th July, we went to Sovereign hill went to the underground gold mine and it was fun and dark a little bit scary went on the horses stage coach  ride it was fun to be in the coach we had morning tea and we got hot chocolate s3 s2 s5 s1 came with us and the teachers then we went to the lolly shop. We got on the bus and went to Narmbool and. went to unpack and then we had dinner and then we watched tv and then we went to the AURA night show. it so fun then we came back to camp and had a shower and went to bed.

 We got out of bed and went to set the table for breakfast and then we had eggs. And we help clean up the table. And we got ready to go for a depart for bushwalk.  We had morning tea then we played Aboriginal games. Then we had lunch then we made bush shelters, and it was raining so much then we went back to Narmbool and then we had dinner. We went and watched a movie and then me and Khalaye did TikTok’s. It was so much fun, and we played games with the kids and then we get and got ready for bed we got in pjs and then lad in bed.

On Friday 21th we got up out of bed and  we went and had beck then and then we got ready and me and Khalaye did more TikTok dances then we went and see some birds the birds were so cute and loved them so much and then we saw one of the birds fly and then we got bags and put them on the front beck  then we had lunch and went on the bus and got to school   

 

 

My Report on Camp by William S

On the 19th of July S3, S2, S1 and S5 went to Sovereign Hill. We went to the lollies bakery and then we had morning tea near the pirate ship.  Then we went to the Candle shop, there was big and small Candles, Red, Blue, Purple, Yellow, Green and Orange colours. Then we went to ride the horse and carriage. After that we went to Narmbool camp and we unpacked our bags. After that we had dinner. We watched the aura night show.  AURA is a 90-minute show at Sovereign Hill. The video had stars exploding in 3D. 

On Thursday 20th of July I didn’t do the duty group clean up.  We had breakfast and then we got ready for the bush walk to Mannas field centre. We had morning tea and then we did Aboriginal games. We made bush shelters and then we had lunch. It rained. When we got back, I did duty group to set up for dinner and then we had dinner. After dinner, we had hot chocolate and then we went to bed. I was being annoyed in the cabin with the boys. 

On Friday I did duty group and I reported to the kitchen to set up for breakfast. We had bacon and eggs for breakfast. I did duty group clean up. After breakfast, we had to clean up the cabins and pack our bags. We had to meet up at the classroom for meet the beaks. I didn’t go to that.  We had morning tea and then we created a critter. My critter was a magpie and I made it out of plasticine and other stuff. After that we had lunch and then we climbed the escapement. When we came back, we packed the buses and we went back to school.  

 

 

Narmbool Environmental Discovery Camp Program by Angelo P

On Wednesday, we went to Narmbool Environmental Discovery Camp Program on 19th July 2023. S3, S2, S1, & S5 got on the bus and went to Sovereign Hill. We had morning tea and went to the park to play. We went to the candy shop and then we got the bus and went to Narmbool. 

On Thursday, all the people in the dorms got woken up to eat breakfast and then we cleaned up. After that, we went for a long walk.  We went on a walk all the way to the building. We got to build a tent and we looked at the front and back of the tent, then we had morning tea. After we walked back to the cabins and set the table. We ate dinner and we went to bed.  

On Friday, all people in the dorms got up to eat breakfast and so we go to the building to see the hut through the window.  It was so cool when we built the huts and then threw water buckets to see if they were waterproof. So, after that we went to the dorms and we got to clear our dorm rooms so we can go to school so we can go home on Friday. 

 

 

Narmbool Lodge Camp by Brock N

 S1, S2, S3, & S5 went to Sovereign Hill. We went to the candle maker and then we went to Red Hill mine in the gold mine we saw a fake gold rock in a safe. Then we saw a video of 2 people using axes to mine gold then after that we went to the lolly shop maker. 

We had 2 lollies each then we walked to the outside eating area, we had morning tea. After we had 30 minutes on the playground. 

We went to the horse carriage place S3 and S5 hopped on the horse carriage after they finished, we went to the old school bowling alley. We played for a little bit then after that we got our bags then went to the bus. Then we drove to Narmbool lodge then a guy and a woman talked about bins and the rooms after that we got a tour of where our rooms were. We went back to the bus, got our bags then put our bags in our cabin. Then we had free time for 10 minutes, then had afternoon tea and then hung out with friends after we had dinner we hopped on the bus and went to the aura night show. 

Then we hopped on the bus made our way back to Narmbool lodge then we all went to bed. In the morning we woke up had a shower got ready then had breakfast. After breakfast we talked about climbing. After the talk we got some gaiters and put them on then S3/S1/S5/S2 started walking on the walk we saw a dead kangaroo. 

Then we keep walking, we arrived at the place we had to go and we talked about making shelters, so we got into groups. Then we started building our shelters. After we built our shelters, we got water thrown on us after that activity we started walking back to the cabin when we got back, we had personal time then we had dinner after dinner. 

We went to the lounge and chilled. Then we went to bed the next morning some of us had a shower and some of us got ready after we got ready, we went in the art room talked about birds then we went outside watch the bird flying. 

 

 

My Report on Camp by Jett D 

Wednesday 19th July, we went to Sovereign Hill. We went to the lolly factory then we went to the gold my underground. After lunch we went to a lesson on olden times machines like a butter churner. Then we got on the bus to go to camp at Narmbool we unpacked our bags and then we had dinner. Then we got on the bus to go to camp at Narmbool we unpacked our bags and then we had dinner. 

On the second day we made shelters from the bush. It was fun.
