Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been a joy stepping into the role of Principal at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Miranda, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone in our community for the warm welcome I’ve received. From my very first day, I’ve been struck by the kindness, politeness, and genuine enthusiasm of our students. Their readiness to greet, help, and engage speaks volumes about the values that guide our school.

I have also been deeply impressed by the professionalism and collegiality of our staff. Their commitment to excellence, their care for each child, and the way they support one another create a learning environment that is both nurturing and inspiring. It is a privilege to join a team so dedicated to living out our shared values of faith, respect, compassion, and service.

Our parent community has been equally welcoming. Your encouragement, openness, and partnership have made my transition into the school both smooth and uplifting. It is clear that Our Lady Star of the Sea thrives because of the strong relationships between home and school, and I am grateful to be part of this connection.

As we look ahead, I am excited for the year to come—one filled with learning, growth, and opportunities to strengthen the vibrant community that makes this school so special. I look forward to working together to ensure every child feels known, valued, and supported to shine.

Lastly, if you would like to volunteer your time to assist the school in any way, for example at an excursion, you will need to complete the Parent Induction with Mrs Louise Fairhall. There are two more opportunities to do so:
