Reminder... the next Parents and Friends meeting next Tues 28th July at 7pm in the St Marys staffroom.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank Belinda and Shaun Steenkamp for their contribution to the P&F committee this year in the roles of secretary and treasurer. They have moved suburbs and schools, so we wish them all the best in their new community.

We are therefore looking for a secretary to assist with creating an agenda and minutes for our quarterly meetings, and a treasurer to assist with accounts. If you are interested in taking on these roles please let me know, and your help would be greatly appreciated.

St Mary's Trivia Night ticket sales are live on CDF pay!

One of our favourite nights of the year is back!

Gather your friends, book a babysitter and join us for a relaxed evening of laughs, great food, friendly rivalry and plenty of fun with the St Mary's community.

Whether you're in it to win it or just looking for a great night out, everyone is welcome. Put together a team of 6–8, or come along and we'll match you with other parents from your child's year level.

We're currently looking for introductions to businesses that may be able to support Fiesta 2026 through sponsorship, products, prizes or supplies.

Do you have a connection to:

A winery or wine distributor?

A chocolate manufacturer, wholesaler or retailer?

A business that could provide products, prizes or supplies?

A local business interested in sponsoring a community event?

Even a simple introduction could make a huge difference.

Fiesta 2026 Update

Planning for Fiesta 2026 is well underway, with the committee meeting regularly and preparations gathering momentum ahead of our biggest community event of the year on Friday 20 November.

We're pleased to have many of our stall leads now confirmed and are busy working through entertainment, food, activities, sponsorships and all the planning that goes into making Fiesta such a fantastic day for our school community.

We're still looking for event sponsors and would love to hear from families who have business or supplier connections that could support the event. In particular, we're seeking wine, prizes, products or supplier donations for popular activities including the Wine Wall, Lob-a-Choc, Kids' Lucky Dip and other stalls.

If you or someone you know may be able to help, we'd love to hear from you. Every contribution helps make Fiesta a success while raising valuable funds for our school.

Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered their time, ideas and support. We'll be sharing more Fiesta updates over the coming months as we count down to Friday 20 November!
