K-1 Athletics Carnival
Kindergarten and Year 1 had a great morning last Wednesday as they competed in their Athletics Carnival. The children had great fun and gave it their best shot! Well done to the students and a big thank you to all the parents who took time out of their mornings to come and support; we always love welcoming you on site!
CIS Hockey
Last week, Hamish (Yr 10) travelled to Sydney for the Combined Independent Schools Hockey Competition representing CSSA. The team played three games in total, and although they didn't secure a win they still gave it their best and displayed great teamwork! The College is super proud of Hamish’s accomplishments.
Tracey Gunson Netball
The past few weeks the Year 7/8 and Open Girls teams have participated in the Tracey Gunson competition after school. The Year 7/8 girls played well, losing one game and then only just losing to Wagga High after a 7-point lead. The Open girls won against Mount Austin and Wagga High, losing to Kooringal.
The Year 7/8 team showed great teamwork and a big improvement in their game. The Open Girls team were effective in their accurate shooting and great passes and intercepts. The girls used this as an opportunity to practice for their state CSSA netball competition coming up. We are proud of their attitude and efforts on and off the court and look forward to Sydney!
A big thanks to our wonderful umpires Mr Buchtmann and Sophie Buchtmann and the fantastic coach Mr Colvin (Open Girls)!!
