NSW Netball Schools Cup
A coupe of weeks ago, students from Years 3-6 attended the NSW Netball Schools Cup in Tamworth. We had a great day with many of the students commenting about how much they enjoyed the day learning to play the sport of Netball with their school friends. Thank you to our staff who coached and umpired the students during the day. We are looking forward to next year's carnival already.
Diocesan Athletics Barraba
Our Dio Cross Country team was a little lighter on numbers due to illnesses but those who were fit and healthy gave their all. A special mention to Jedd Hall who was our school’s best result of the day coming 10th in the 10 year boys race. A big thank you to St Joseph’s Barraba for hosting us again in what is always such a well organised event.
Coal Miner’s Cup Gunnedah
Last Friday, 24th May June, some our students represented St Michael's in the Coal Miner's Cup at Gunnedah. Congratulations to these students for playing some great football and league tag and giving it their best and playing so well as a team.
A big thank you to our parents and friends who provided transport and support to our players.
