Dr Cheryle Osborne's 40 Year Recognition Award

One of the highlights of the school year is the Department of Education Recognition of Service Awards Ceremony.  The event recognises and celebrates dedication, loyalty and longevity of service to the Department of Education and is awarded at a state level each year for staff who have achieved 40 years, 45 years, 50 years, 55 years and, in some cases, 60 years of service.

At the ceremony 2 weeks ago, our very own Acting Principal, Dr Cheryle Osborne, was honored with an award commemorating her remarkable 40 years of service. Cheryle started her career with the Victorian Education Department as a classroom teacher, then an assistant principal, and has been a principal for the past 23 years. Her dedication, commitment and excellence in the realm of education is undeniably incredible.

Ormond Primary School is extremely fortunate to have Cheryle on board.

Congratulations Cheryle on this phenomenal achievement!
