We have had a busy semester in Visual Art!
All P-3 classes have been focusing on the visual element of Colour in Term One. All year levels have been focusing on different aspects of colour and exploring these in different mediums.
In term Two, all classes have been introduced to the art element of Form (three-dimensional art), some classes are looking at form through modelling with Playclay and clay, or through constructing paper mâché birds and animals.
In clay classes, students are developing their pinch pot technique and the correct method of joining clay. Through paper mâché, they are creating their own mythical bird or animal.
I can’t wait to see their wonderful artwork.
