Student Leadership
Meet our Student Representative Council
Open Night
On the 14th of May, the SRC team helped run our annual ECSC Year 7 Open Night. Our amazing student leaders did a great job of taking families on tours, sharing our student life, and our school spirit.
Approximately 100 individuals attended the night which was a rewarding turn out. Throughout the night, we got to chat with some of our future Year 7 families, and share our beautiful facilities and what we have to offer. We showcased our diverse and accommodating environment that we have established here at ECSC.
We would like to formally thank everyone who attended, and all of our SRC members for representing our school to a high standard!
The Push-Up Challenge
There is less than 1 week until the beginning of the Push-Up Challenge! Now is the time for you to begin registering for this program so you are ready to start logging in from the start of June 5th to June 28th.
The Push-Up Challenge is the largest event in Australia based on mental and physical health. This challenge involves doing 3249 pushups or even half, i.e. 1625, within the span of 24 days. This can either be done individually or as a team, both options are available when you register.
The number of pushups are based on the number of Australian lives lost to suicide in the past few years. This challenge is a way of representing hope in our society and raising awareness about this issue. We want our school to take this as an opportunity for all of us to come together and show the strength and support we hold for ourselves and each other.
SO WHAT'S STOPPING YOU? GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE THIS SEASON AND SHOW US WHAT YOU'VE GOT!
Student Voice
“If you ever have any questions or suggestions, feel free to speak to someone who is wearing a badge!” - Chhavi J, Year 12 Student Representative.
This is our collective ask, anytime you have a problem about events, students, or teachers; any student with a badge is your ‘go-to’ person!
Please feel free to contact your relevant year level leaders, to discuss any issues which arise, or to be pointed in the direction of one of our helpful school leaders.
