VOCABULARY

Helper: A person who helps others. 

Explore: Inquiring in detail to learn. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

With your child give them opportunities at home to help you with a range of jobs. 

You may ask them to:

• Help bring the groceries in or 
• Putting away the laundry. 

Show them that they are able to help and that it is okay to allow other people to help you.

Connect their help to the outside world as well and talk about how they can be a great helper at school with their friends and teachers.
