Captains' Corner
Hello everyone,
Wow! I can’t believe that it’s the middle of the school year already, and entering another Semester of learning, studying and having fun during our last ever semester for the Class Of 2024.
On Tuesday 28 May, St John’s celebrated Mass and will continue to do so one many Tuesdays and Thursdays in the future. Many students and staff come together at lunchtimes to celebrate the Eucharist. The Mass will be back on and will continue from Thursday 20 June and Tuesday 25 June. We hope to see you all again in the chapel at the start of lunch to start our Mass.
Over the first few weeks of Term 2, the Year 12 students have been putting together an art project. Sherlyn and I, the Faith and Mission Captains, and Ms Simon (The Lasallian Youth Minister) have created and designed a Mural outside the CLC. The Mural is for the Class of 2024, who will graduate at the end of the year, the Year 12s have left handprints on the mural to connect with the 2024 College theme “That they may be one” (Jn. 17:22). Sherlyn, Ms. Simon and I instigated this mural because we wanted to leave something at the school and wanted to make a mark at St John’s Regional College, from 2019 to 2024.
Have a fantastic and awesome weekend,
Take care and God Bless :)
