EarthEd Excursion
Week 4 was a busy week in the Kookaburra Room with all Grade 3/4 students embarking on an excursion to EarthEd STEM Centre in Ballarat.
Students had a fantastic time exploring the causes of landscape changes to the Earth’s surface. Some of the highlights included using VR headsets to investigate erosion of the cliffs along the coastline, exploring the bush for signs of human-made and environmental changes, using microscopes, carrying out an experiment within a laboratory setting and then using problem-solving skills through a STEM challenge centred around river erosion and human development.
