Dear Parents and Carers of Years 5 and 6 students,

Please note that nominations are open for the ADPSC Rugby Union trials & Gary McSweeney Cup to be held at Tamworth on Friday, 31st May.

For further information, please go to the Compass app and action the 2024 ADPSC Rugby Union trials & Gary McSweeney Cup by Friday, 24 May.

St Joseph's Walgett Rugby 7s Gala Day postponed until further notice

Dear Parents and Carers of Years 3 and 4 students,

Please note that the 2024 St Joseph's Walgett Rugby 7s Gala Day in Walgett, originally scheduled for Friday, 24 May, has been postponed until further notice. Once the new date has been confirmed, we will update you via Compass.

School Hat Reminder, No Hat, No Play!

Please ensure your child is bringing their school hat each day. We are a sun-safe school and encourage all children to wear it during playtime.

Please also note that caps are not permitted on uniform days.

Uniforms can be purchased online with Made for School (excluding school hats, school bags, and Girls' Blue Checked Shorts) at https://bit.ly/3P0OrHj.

Please note that you must be signed in with a Made for School account to add more than one item to your cart. You can also create an account via the Register page or sign in automatically using your Google or Apple account.

Orders placed before 1 pm AEST will ship the same day and are sent directly to your street or postal box address via tracked Australia Post. Please note that some large orders cannot ship to postal boxes. If this is the case, please use the school address, and we will let you know when it has arrived.

Please note that the 'Y' and 'G' in front of some products differentiate the range/brand.

School hats, school bags and a limited supply of new and secondhand uniform items (including Girls Blue Checked Shorts) are available to purchase at the school office.

Uniforms are available to try on at the school. If you would like to make an appointment for your child to try on a uniform, please contact the school office.

Volunteering

This is just a reminder that, wherever possible, all volunteers must have a current Working With Children’s Check.

What will I need?

How do I apply?

Visit the Service NSW website
Select the 'Apply online' button.
Select 'Apply for your Check'.
Select 'Continue and apply'.
Complete the online form, ensuring the name you enter matches your identity documents exactly.
Visit a service centre to present your original identity documents.

What will it cost?

Applying for a Volunteer WWCC is FREE.
