Le Francais

Bonjour!

After a break away it was nice to come back to BPPS and see how much the children have grown and the progress they have made in their French learning.

Foundation students are honing their presentation skills with new actions, and more practise to finalise authentic pronunciation and memorisation of their little seasons poem.

Congratulations to Alexander, Ellery and Bella in FKJ for their CL&S award for excellent test results on the French seasons! Magnifique!

Grades1and 2 have completed working on the months of the year.  Students sang along to the song and learned how to do the twist with Madame Higgins to finish off the song with great flair.

Grades 3 and 4, after having learnt some basic weather expressions, were challenged to recall correct spelling and meaning. It was pleasing to see the great effort a lot of students put in their tests. Congratulations to Colin C (4JX) and Chloe L (4JT) for their recent CL&S award in excellent achievement in French. Bravo !

Grades 5 and 6  also completed a listening and spelling test to demonstrate recall and memorisation of French weather vocabulary. A big bravo to all the students who achieved perfect scores in their tests, as French spelling is even more challenging than English.

Congratulations to the following students: Nathan S (5CE), Oliver L (6HR) and Lana O (6SJ) for their CL&S awards in excellent pronunciation and memorisation in French.

A big merci beaucoup to Monsieur Roast for his bon travail in my absence.

A bientôt,

Madame Higgins
