Are you wondering how learning to read happens at school?
Is your child struggling to learn to read?
Curious about how students progress through reader levels?
Do you have a child who has picked up reading quickly and you don’t know how to challenge them or what is next?
This interactive workshop is open to all parents and caregivers and targeted to those with students in Foundation to Year 2.
Some of our specialist Early Years teachers will be sharing their expertise about how to help children as they navigate learning to read and develop their reading skills for accuracy, meaning and understanding.
We welcome you to join us for a fun and informative night! Please organise childcare as this is an adult-only event. Please book below:
Friendship Garden
On Friday the 17th, Pilgrim School celebrated Wellbeing Day with a focus on Friendology. To kick things off, the whole school congregated around the entrance to the new Friendship Garden. This is located next to the Kiss’n Drop entrance of the School.
It was a lovely time of celebrating something new and exciting, that will enrich our School nutritionally, emotionally and spiritually. Students led us in prayer as we gave thanks to God for this blessing. Students will be watching things grow, nurturing life, caring, participating in manual tasks, sharing produce, and many other great skills. Special thanks to the staff involved in dreaming, designing, ordering, and the preparations that went into the launch of the garden.
