Musica Viva – Moon Radio Hour

On Monday this week, we were fortunate to host three musicians called Moon Radio Hour from Musica Viva. Their quirky approach to using unusual sounds and instruments to make music was enjoyed by all students, K-6. They demonstrated ingenious ways to bring stories to life with music, sound and plenty of laughs along the way. The musicians showed students how to improvise with sound and create different textures and soundscapes for different scenarios. Voice, saxophone, sampler, guitar, future pipe (similar to an electric clarinet!) and the kazoo were all played for the students with our Kindergarten students invited to join in on the fun with their own kazoos.
