2024 End of Year
We look forward to celebrating the end of the 2024 school year with the following events:
Casual Clothes Day!
Friday 13th December
All students are invited to wear casual clothes including safe, closed toe shoes and no sleeveless tops as a reward for filling our Whole School Community Raffle Jar for following the FARM Code.
Year 6 Graduation Dinner and Mass
Friday 13th December 2024.
Children to be dropped off at SMCM at 5.30pm in full school Summer uniform INCLUDING PLAIN BLACK SHOES
Parents are invited to arrive at the Sports and Assembly Hall, St. Monica's College, Dalton Rd campus from 7pm
Children will arrive at St. Monica's by bus, ready to start Mass at 7.30pm.
The ceremony is expected to finish by 9pm.
Children will be dismissed to their families and will need to take their artwork home with them.
Year 6 Final Fun Day
Monday 16th December 2024
Notes and information regarding the plans for the day have been communicated to all Year 6 students and their families.
Final Day of 2024 School Year
Tuesday 17th December 2024
10am - Whole school End of Year Liturgy and Assembly in Penola
There will be limited standing room for families.
All Year 6s, students and staff not returning to SMCM in 2025 will be acknowledged at this gathering.
12.15pm - Year 6 Guard of Honour. Year 6 parents are invited to wait on the basketball court as all Year 6 students process through the school to finish and be dismissed at the basketball court.
1pm - All students dismissed for the end of the school year.
2025 Orientation Morning
Yesterday all students in Years 1-6 in 2025 participated in our Orientation Morning. They met their 2025 Homegroup teacher, visited their new learning space and met their classmates. Each child received a personlised letter detailing their learning space, new homegroup name and teacher.
