VCE VM EXHIBITION

PASSIONS AND INTERESTS EXHIBITION
The recent VCE VM Passions and Interests exhibition, held on 15 October in the Holland Room of the Mercy Campus, was an outstanding success. Students showcased their projects with pride, presenting their work to both college and community guests.
The exhibition offered a diverse display of student achievements, spanning both past projects and this year’s new creations. A standout feature was the Passions and Interests photographic exhibition, a culmination of a year’s worth of research and learning, where students enthusiastically shared the inspirations and thought processes behind their work.
This event provided students with the opportunity to reflect on their accomplishments, significantly boosting their confidence. It served as an ideal platform for them to demonstrate their skills and connect meaningfully with others. Overall, the exhibition fostered a positive and encouraging atmosphere, where students took pride in their achievements, making the experience truly memorable for all involved.
The students also showcased their culinary skills and added a personal touch to the event by preparing and baking the delicious food served to guests on the day. This element further highlighted their skills and creativity, making the exhibition not only visually engaging but also a foodie’s delight.
The combination of art, design, and hospitality made this a truly wonderful exhibition, one that was both unforgettable and deeply appreciated by everyone in attendance.

VCE VM Teachers
Hello everyone, and welcome to the Passion and Interest Exhibition!
My name is Gabrielle Strangio.
On behalf of all the Year 11 and 12 PDS VCE VM students, I would like to thank you for being here to celebrate this special event with us.
This exhibition is a reflection of months of hard work, learning, and growth. We have been involved in every aspect of this event – from preparing the food you will taste, to capturing the photographs you see on display, to setting up the entire space. This project has allowed us to complete our PDS outcomes for the year, but more than that, it has helped us learn valuable skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity.
Each part of this exhibition represents passions and interests that drive us. We have worked together to bring this vision to life, and we are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished. We hope that as you walk around and enjoy the exhibition, you will get a sense of the dedication and effort that went into each piece.
We also have a fun activity for you! Please take three tokens and vote for the following:
- One image that you believe best represents what a passion or interest truly is,
- One image that resonates with you, and
- One image that’s your personal favourite.
I want to take a moment to say a big thank-you to our teachers, mentors, and friends. Your support has meant the world to us, and we could not have done this without you.
This exhibition is about celebrating our journey and achievements, so please feel free to enjoy the food, explore the exhibition, and have a chat with us about our work. We are excited to share our stories and experiences with you.
Thank you again for being here.
