Grade 6 Graduation, JSC and Sustainably Photos

Grade 6 Graduation, Semester 2 JSC, Sustainability and Sports Team photos will be taken next Thursday 17 October.  

Book Club - Issue 7

Magazines for Issue 7 of Book Club have been sent home.

Every purchase from the Scholastic Book Club not only gives your child wonderful educational resources at home, but also contributes to the school Library collection which benefits all of the school children. 

There are 4 ways to order: 

1. By credit card using LOOP, where you complete the book order and pay online – nothing needs to be sent back to school 

2. Credit card over the phone, you still need to complete an order form & return it to school with the 11-digit receipt number 

3. Cash (correct money) in an envelope with the completed order form 

4. Cheque (made payable to Scholastic Australia) with the completed order form 

Orders are due back to school by Friday 25 October, with delivery around one week later.

Frog Bog Update

At the end of last term we put the finishing touches on our Frog Bog and welcomed a big group of budding herpetologists to become "RPS Frog Ambassadors". If your child came home with a Frog Ambassador badge or sticker they might have some amazing facts to share with you about how to care for our frog bog and wider local environment.

In other exciting news, October is Frog Census month! If you're keen to get your kids outdoors and connected with our local area you can download the Frog Census app and visit local frog habitats to record any frog calls you hear. Just over the road from RPS in the Rosanna Parklands we were very excited to record a Southern Brown Tree Frog and a Spotted Marsh Frog, both of which we didn't know lived so close to school! They were so close we had to wait until the school bell music turned off before we could get a clear recording!
