Year 9 Voyage Camp
Good luck to all Year 9 students heading off to Voyage camp in the Grampians in Victoria leaving on Monday. Year 9 camp serves many valuable purposes, both educational and personal. At Endeavour Year 9 is the pinnacle of the Voyage journey. I hope you have an amazing time filled with fun, new experiences, and lots of laughs. Make the most of every moment, whether you're facing challenges, making new friends, or enjoying the great outdoors.
Stay safe, support each other, and create some unforgettable memories.
Year 9 camp allows the following:
1. Building Teamwork and Leadership Skills
2. Personal Growth
3. Connecting with Nature
4. Socialising in a Different Setting
5. Improved Mental and Physical Well-being
6. Learning Beyond the Classroom
In short, Year 9 Voyage camp is an opportunity for students to develop important life skills, build relationships, and experience new things—both personally and academically—that help them grow into more confident and capable young people.
College Photo update
It has come to our attention that families who ordered photo packages including group shots have received a Village photo instead of a Year Level photo. Please know that this was the mistake of the College and not the supplier.
We have been in contact with AdvancedLife and they have generously agreed to print Year Level photos free of charge to any family who purchased a group photo. These should be ready in approximately a week. We are grateful to our provider for the very smooth service they have provided and continue to provide. Once the photos arrive, we will distribute them via your child during Care Group time. We thank you for your patience and grace.
Year 12 Exams
Year 12 examinations are well under way, and I want to wish all the Year 12 students all the best when preparing for their exams. This is your moment to shine after all the hard work you've put in. Stay focused, manage your time wisely, and remember to take breaks when you need to recharge. Believe in yourself; you’re more prepared than you think.
Whatever the outcome, be proud of how far you've come.
The Advertiser
For anyone who missed Monday’s Advertiser, Endeavour College was featured in an article about our five sets of Year 12 twins!
A fun feature as Year 12 students begin their final exams around the state.
Japanese Student Exchange
Goodluck and all the best to two Year 10 students, Matthew Tan and Kai Bodel, as they prepare to head to Japan this Sunday as part of the student exchange program. These two students are going to our sister school Sundai Kofu in Yamanashi which is located 120km west of Tokyo, at the bottom of Mt Fuji.
They will be staying with their respective host families, attend school and spending Christmas and New Years Eve in Japan before they come back home in mid-January. We wish them safe travels as they get ready to embark on what will no doubt be memorable and fantastic experience. We cannot wait to hear about it all on your return in the new year.
Welcome 2025 Year 7s and new families to the College
Earlier this term we welcomed students, parents and caregivers of the 2025 Year 7 cohort to Endeavour College at our Welcome to Secondary School Evening.
While it may feel like the end of the year is rapidly approaching, we are also very much thinking about new beginnings.
This Anchor marks the first communication received by new families to the College in 2025. An extended welcome to these families as they prepare for the exciting new chapter ahead.
Please read the insightful article by Louisa Mulligan, Director of Middle Years for how we manage transition and all it involves.
