Principal's Report
Today we celebrate World Teachers' Day, a time to recognise the incredible work our teachers do every day. We are proud of the commitment and passion they bring to our school community, inspiring and supporting our students. Please join us in taking a moment to thank your child’s teacher for their dedication and hard work. We were privileged to have a visit from our Premier Jacinta Allen today, for an informal chat and tour of the school. We will receive a grant supporting the upgrade of the Grade 1 & 2 area next year and it was a great opportunity to say thanks and discuss other pertinent issues in education.
Next week, a reminder that Wednesday is the Bendigo Cup Public Holiday, and the school will be closed. We hope you all enjoy a relaxing day and some quality time with your families.
Our senior students had a great day at the T20 Blast cricket competition at Catherine McAuley College. Thanks to the staff for their support and the children who again represented the school with pride. Our preps visited the Discovery Centre where they explored science and technology, in particular the body and systems. It was a great opportunity for them to learn through hands-on experiences and I know they had lots of fun.
As we prepare for the transition to 2025, thanks to those parents who took time to provide a request to me during the last few weeks. We are now into to the process of class building and ask that if families may be leaving for any reason that we are informed as soon as practical. It is not only helpful for the school but also in supporting any transition or transfer that may occur. Thank you for your continued support.
