Netball NSW Schools Cup Gala Day

On Wednesday our O’Connor Catholic College students proudly represented the school at the Netball NSW Schools Cup Gala Day. We took six teams, with both male and female students from Years 7-10 showcasing their skills, teamwork and sportsmanship across the day.

All teams played with determination and represented OCC with pride. A special congratulations goes to the OCC 9/10 Blue and OCC 7/8 Gold teams, who have progressed through to the Regional Finals in Tamworth on Wednesday, 10th September. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work and commitment.

Thank you to our wonderful umpires on the day: Bella McKay, Lizzy Shepheard, Grace Pett, Mackenzie Gash and Paige Patterson who generously gave their time and ensured the games ran smoothly. Your support is invaluable and greatly appreciated by both players and staff.

We also extend our gratitude to the OCC staff: James Russell, Tully Langenbaker, Claudia Percy and Lauren English who coached, supervised, and supported our students on the day. Your encouragement and organisation made the experience possible and memorable for everyone involved.

We wish our two qualifying teams the very best as they continue their Schools Cup journey.
