Trusted Adults

Each term, students will be explicitly taught about trusted adults, allowing them to select five suitable adults they can talk to and seek help from when needed. These include a mixture of adults from both school and home. Each student will create their own ‘trusted adult hand’ and learn how to use it as a reference when they need support. They will also refer to their trusted adults during their daily morning check-in. Students will also be taught what to do if a trusted adult is unable to help them and will receive explicit teaching about body safety, consent, and personal boundaries.
