Wellbeing dog update

This term, our Wellbeing Dogs, Coco and Alfie, have been brightening up classrooms with their visits. They've been living proof of the research that shows being near a dog can reduce stress and anxiety and decrease the heart rate.
"92% of students said they felt more relaxed during teaching and learning time when there was a dog in the classroom." (Source: Dogs Connect)
We spent a day following Coco's adventures—from students patting her for the first time, to playing games together. Coco was definitely a highlight of the day.
