Student Wellbeing

Welcome everyone!
While preparing this edition of our e-newsletter, I found myself reflecting on the powerful role we play as adults in the lives of our children. One theme that stood out was the importance of being strong and positive role models.
As parents and caregivers, we are our children’s first teachers. More than our words, it is our actions that leave a lasting impression. When our behaviour reflects the values we believe in, we show our children what it means to live with integrity, respect, and purpose.
There are many simple yet meaningful ways we can model positive behaviour—right here in our school community. Whether it’s speaking kindly to one another, using the designated crosswalk, or parking responsibly, these everyday actions send powerful messages. They show our children the value of rules, the importance of community, and the respect we owe to one another.
Being a good role model also extends to how we handle our emotions, our challenges, and disagreements. Our children are always observing—how we respond in tough moments teaches them far more than we may realise.
Let’s all continue to lead by example, knowing that our actions today shape the values and character of the next generation.
