The Kaadadjiny Hub

The Kaadadjiny Hub has been a hive of activity over the past few weeks, especially yesterday being World Bee Day (20th May). A day dedicated to the importance of bees within our eco-system. The games section in the hub has had a revamp, with new games purchased and old favourites replaced. Chess and Uno are still the most popular games played by all students across the campus.

Benefits of Reading

Reading has so many benefits for your children:

  • builds concentration
  • improves memory
  • teaches about the world
  • develops empathy
  • expands vocabulary
  • boosts critical thinking
  • helps build positive self-image
  • better performance in school

Did you know that books can have a sneaky title?

This book is called “Lord of the Fleas”, and it is from the Dogman series.

Sometimes students will get confused about the title of their book, so always look to see if there is a sneaky title.

Premier's Reading Challenge

Don’t forget the Premier’s Reading Challenge. It not too late to register your children in this wonderful free program that is offered to students to encourage reading for pleasure from Kindy through to Year 12. The program is endorsed by CEWA and the Department of Education.
