Leadership Centre

Highlight

Selamat siang,

Another busy week in the Leadership Centre this week as we reach the halfway point of Term 2!

This week, students have been measuring and classifying angles in Mathematics. Some of the key words we have used are acute, obtuse, straight, reflex, complementary and supplementary! We also used origami to find how different patterns can impact the angles the shapes created by each fold.

In English, we have continued having in-depth discussions in our literature circles. Teachers have been so impressed with the independence students have shown to ensure they have prepared their work, and are ready to discuss with their classmates in group discussions.

In Guided Inquiry, we are beginning to work towards our final project of creating a campaign. Students will choose an issue that they think is important and aligns with their values. This might be something you could discuss at home! What do you consider to be an important issue in our community that could be improved?

Wishing you a fantastic week ahead,

The Leadership Centre
