District Swimming
On Monday 3rd March, our swimming team travelled to Mentone Girls Grammar to represent the school at the District Swimming carnival. Our students had a tremendous swimming carnival, displaying excellent technique in the pool and supporting their team mates, while showcasing great sportsmanship throughout the event
We finished the day with 12 podium finishes. Will M and Kira K each won one of their individual events and progressed to Kingston Division.
The most impressive performance for the day belonged to Kira K. She broke the district record in the 9/10 year old girls 50m breaststroke, a terrific achievement, well done Kira!
Division Swimming
On Wednesday 12th March, Will M and Kira K represented the school at Kingston Division at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. Will swam in the 50m freestyle and finished in 7th place, a very close finish amongst all competitors.
Kira swam in the 50m breaststroke and had another strong performance winning the event and progressing through to the Southern Metro Region on Wednesday 2nd April. We wish Kira all the best at Regionals.
