Celebrating the Future Pathways of Our Graduates
At St John's Regional College, we take great pride in supporting students as they transition into the next stage of their education and careers. This year's graduating class has pursued various pathways, reflecting their diverse opportunities.
The majority of our students, 61 per cent, have chosen to continue their studies at university, with RMIT University (31 per cent), Monash University (18 per cent), and Deakin University (16 per cent) being the top three destinations. Other students have secured places at institutions including Swinburne University of Technology, Federation University Australia, Victoria University, The University of Melbourne, Australian Catholic University, and La Trobe University. An additional 10 per cent have chosen other university destinations.
Meanwhile, 35 percent of our graduates have opted for diploma programs, which allow them to gain industry-specific skills and practical experience. An additional 4 percent have taken alternative pathways, exploring other educational or career opportunities.
When it comes to fields of study, students have demonstrated a strong interest in science (28 per cent), business (23 per cent), and society-related studies (18 per cent). Other popular choices include health, arts, engineering and building, information technology, and education.
Additionally, students pursuing Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses have shown a particular interest in society and culture, creative arts, health, information technology, building, and education.
These pathways highlight our students' commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth. We commend them for their hard work and determination and look forward to seeing them thrive in their chosen fields.
