THURSDAY - Drama Club with Chili, Jarrah, Skye and Indi
FRIDAY - Art and Sport Club Challenges (newspaper towers, sport banners and paper cannons) with Cooper and Niels
FRIDAY - Boardgames and Puzzles Club with Sam and Jakob
Last Friday, with Mel, our year 6 students spent time in the kitchen baking some choc chip cookies. As fun as this was, there was also some learning outcomes from the exercise. This term, as part of their Science unit, students are undertaking some experiments to understand reversible and irreversible changes in materials. Students discussed the difference between physical and chemical changes, emphasising that chemical changes often involve irreversible changes. Students conducted observations of temperature, colour, smell, size and consistency throughout the experiment. Unfortunately no biscuits were delivered to the office!
