Konnichiwa, Monty Community!

We have been using the house points in Japanese Class just like other classrooms. Thanks to Miss Zoe from 2Z for making the beautiful house point displays! There are two things we do differently in Japanese class:

1. Students need to tell me their house colours in Japanese when they earn points.      

Red-AKA, Blue-AO, Green-MIDORI and Yellow-KIIRO 

2. We keep the tallies of 5 using the Japanese Kanji (Tadashi meaning correct). See the example here of Japanese and western tallies of 5.

It's nice to see the tally filling up by the end of the week, and it’s fun to add all the scores that students earn each week! Keep up the good work, everyone!
